Hey man, great looking widget!
It doesn't work for me though, only the audio bars work.
I've tried foobar2000 and Spotify but no luck, any solutions? :(

Hi.
Spotify is partially supported player and Rainmeter does not detect it as activated so player controls are hidden. You need "foo_cad plugin" installed for foobar2000 to work. You can try Aimp, iTunes, Winamp or WMP. More about players at Rainmeter docs. Audio bars should work for any sound.
Hope this helps.

Darn! I only use Spotify.
Oh well, thanks anyway!

EDIT: There are some skins that are made for Spotify and they work perfectly, do you think you can make something like that with the same skin style as above? That'd be cool.
The one I'm using currently for Spotify is called "MonsterCat Visualizer" and "Lano Visualizer" made by the same person.
Do you think maybe you can contact him?

Thanks in advance!

I have plans to update some of my skins but Spotify is not available in my country so I cannot test it.

I guess you could let me test it?
Or you could use Hotspot Shield or something like that and test it yourself.

Hey man, your setup look good.

But I think that it is simple repackage of someone else's work with minor alteration for your own likings. You could have just put screenshot of your personal setup and links to the original art work as the source of it.

I do not allow re-packaging, or distribution of my work as part of multiple skins packages as most of artists do not allow that too.

Consider removing download link since all original artist in question reserve right for their own original art, and they can report you for permission issues.

Love it! Using it right now and i read the comments said you can change to Spotify. It works for me, i can play/pause, next/previous song but the song's name and singer's name won't show up :)

Hi. Thank you.
Spotify is partially supported player and Rainmeter cannot use all commands to detect it. Since it cannot detect it as active it hides controls and info.

I see. Oh well, I actually stick with not showing tittle at all. Just the wavy effect, looks better that way :)

Sure. Spotify is partially supported so I did not include it in the list of players to choose from. You can open file "Variables.inc" and change variable "Player" to "Player=Spotify". Refresh skin and it should be working.

You can try using some other media player to see if it works. List of supported media player you can find at Rainmeter docs. Make sure you set correctly "Player" variable. And you have to refresh the skin after you set the variable.

Thank you :)
You can right click on skin and choose black or white color from custom skin menu. If you would like some other colors you will have to edit variable Color in Variables.inc

Hey, Great skin. Love the scroll through feature on the progress.
I have one problem though, when closing wpm the skin acts up and starts flickering. Would you happen to know why and if this happens to anyone else using other media players?

Thank you. I think the problem is in plugin and how it works with soundcard drivers. I have similar issues when sound starts humming when I connect bluetooth speakers. It resolves when I refresh skin. I am using Aimp as media player.

heya, thanks for the awesome widget. I'm having issues with it displaying the track process and the track name. I managed to get itunes work with it but not VLC media player even after changing it in settings. I have the latest rainmeter installed, any idea on what's causing it? :)

Thanks for the reply! I managed to find it in the end and install it but it only works for VLC 2.0.x and doesn't support newer versions of VLC. I ended up downloading a 2.0.0 vlc but it still doesn't seem to work. Ohwell I'll manage to live without it.
Thanks again for the awesome widget and help! :)

I have Rainmeter 3.2 with AudioLevel and installed your skin, but while the track name, track progress and controls work (player set to foobar2000), the graphic bars don't show at all when a track is playing. It's probably something really simple I'm missing.

Graphic bars should show for any sound you play on PC regardless of media player. Be sure to install latest version of Rainmeter since it includes AudioLevel plugin.

Hey, any idea how to make the bars more responsive without cranking up the volume? Cause I need the volume really loud for the bars to even begin to register above the line.

You can try setting volume separately on your media player and windows volume control.
You can edit file and increase value of RMSGain for [MeasureAudioOutput1,2,3,4].

Thanks! The RMSGain thing worked very well!

Except for one thing, the two middle bars are still moving very minimally, every other bar is responding perfectly,

Weird, any ideas?

I'm not having any luck with the controls and VLC media player, despite the correct media player being selected in the preferences. WMP works however. Any ideas? Love the skin, that's why I want it to work for me!
